along your hike. Hiking trails like this one here in the Siskiyou Mountains are the best way to enjoy these highlands. This trail is on the short side having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a nice backpacking trail for the average person looking for a nice adventure.
Going for a backcountry trek here in California is so much fun. There are not too many backpacking trails in this vicinity. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Copper Trail while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The
cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Copper Trail. At parts of the year this vicinity sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go.
Briefly about the general
area: There's so much to do here at Copper Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Waiiaka Trailer Haven is a good place for that, and there's whitewater on Klamath River for all you adrenaline junkies. All the outdoors exciting things in the Siskiyou Mountains will keep
you coming back repeatedly. Bear Creek is in close proximity to Copper Trail and is always a pleasure to pop by. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Copper Trail has to offer, you can camp at Tree of Heaven Campground.
