California hiking trails - Copper Trail, Siskiyou Mountains, Siskiyou County

   
  Copper Trail is to be found a pretty long drive from Medford, but if you're looking for a wonderful place to go backcountry trekking, this is a wonderful choice. There are backcountry hiking trails all over California, and Copper Trail is one of them, and it's in Siskiyou County. When you're here in California backcountry backpacking along one of its backcountry hiking trails is the brilliant thing to do. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. Copper Trail is 2.8 miles long it's shorter than many great outdoors trails.
    Copper Trail is pretty dehydrated usually; through December this region sees the most rain, and the driest month is July. This backpacking trail has a total elevation difference of 954 feet which is lower than average. As long as you like the outdoors you will like California.
These backcountry trails here in the Siskiyou Mountains are a nice way to explore these hills. During the warm days of summer here at Copper Trail, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Copper Trail temperatures descend to the 20's. Can’t wait to get out in nature, Copper Trail in Siskiyou County, California is a wonderful place for getting out. Copper Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole  
time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry hike. This wilderness hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Copper Trail is a two ended backpacking trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. The time needed for this backcountry hike is roughly 2.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Copper Trail is on the short side having an average number of uphill miles which makes this trail fine for the average backcountry walker looking for an enjoyable adventure. There are numerous backcountry hiking trails in California, and each one is different from the others. This wilderness hiking trail is not that long but it's always brilliant to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. There are not too many trails in this region.

Visit Bear Creek if you're here at Copper Trail, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Klamath River.
All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Siskiyou Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. There's so much to do here at Copper Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Tree of Heaven Campground is a pleasant place for that, and if you came to camp Yreka RV Park is a fine site to do that.
