California hiking trails - Coast Trail, Marin County

   
  Coast Trail is a backcountry hiking trail pretty far from Santa Rosa-Petaluma, but backcountry trekking it is always fun. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while, and if you happen to be in Marin County of California, Coast Trail is a splendid local backcountry hiking trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Don’t forget to check for any current
    restrictions or closures before you go. Of course, this is an overnight hike, 3 days normally, so it's a brilliant thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. There's not much difference in elevation along Coast Trail which means the conditions are about the same from start
to finish. With its 19.6 miles of walking distance; it's longer than many wilderness hiking trails. This great outdoors trail is a great outdoors trail of great length having an average number of uphill miles which makes this wilderness hiking trail good for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. At Coast Trail all through the summer months highs are in the 80's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, commonly in the 40's. All through the winter this location gets highs in the 50's while Coast Trail night low temperatures through the winter are  
in the 30's. Here in California backcountry hiking is so much fun. A lot of rain falls at Coast Trail; the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Pleasant great outdoors hiking trails in California are in abundance, and Coast Trail in Marin County is one of them. This hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Now this hiking trail is pretty long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. As long as you like the fresh air you will like California. There are so many wilderness hiking trails in this vicinity. The total elevation difference for Coast Trail is 1,275 feet which is about average.

Crystal Springs is always fun to check out. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Coast Trail rules! Coast Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth a visit; as expected, all our national parks are wonderful spots to have a look at and Point Reyes National Seashore is no exception.
A journey to Muddy Hollow invigorates the soul, and camping at Coast Trail is magnificent fun, Coast Campground is a magnificent local campground. A forest close to Coast Trail is Jepson Memorial Grove, and Divide Meadow is a nice place to check out. Visit Santa Maria Creek while you're here at Coast Trail, and you don’t have to go far from Coast Trail to see the water at Bear Valley Dam.
Sky Campground is a nice campground here, and if you want to hit the beach, Sculptured Beach is in the neighborhood. Put some time aside to spend at Alamere Falls while you're here at Coast Trail, and Santa Maria Beach is rather close by if you're in a beach type of mood. If you're here at Coast Trail, do take a tour to Point Resistance, and Coast Trail is in the vicinity of Bear Valley which is positively worth going to.
