California hiking trails - Coast Trail, Marin County

   
  There are so many delightful great outdoors trails for backcountry hiking in California, and Coast Trail in Marin County is one of them. There are numerous great outdoors trails in California, and each one has its own character. When you're here in California backcountry hiking along one of its great outdoors trails is the delightful thing to do. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Coast Trail, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are typically in the 50's, and overnight lows in the
    30's for Coast Trail. This hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry trek. This is just one of a large number of hiking trails in this neighborhood. Lots of rainfall falls at Coast Trail; January is the month that gets the most rain, and
July meanwhile is the driest month. There's not much difference in elevation along Coast Trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole hiking trail. This is a backcountry hiking trail that is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in spot. This hiking and backpacking trail is a hiking and backpacking trail of good length having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a brilliant hiking trail for experienced backcountry hikers in wonderful shape.  
This backcountry hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. A visit to California is not complete without some backcountry hiking. Coast Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,275 feet which is about average. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in the fresh air a bit, and Coast Trail in Marin County, California is an outstanding spot to go. With its 19.6 miles of walking distance; it's a long hiking trail. Now, this is roughly a 3-day backcountry hike, so it's a tremendous thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. You'll have got to go far from Santa Rosa-Petaluma to get to Coast Trail, but backpacking it is fine excitement any time.

Briefly about the general area:
Bear Valley is near Coast Trail and is a pleasant site, and you can take a little trip to Bear Valley Dam while you're here at Coast Trail. Muddy Hollow is a tremendous place, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Santa Maria Beach.
Jepson Memorial Grove is a tremendous local forest, and Alamere Falls is a pretty place to check out while you're at Coast Trail. A short journey to Crystal Springs is always worthwhile. Places like Divide Meadow are splendid to visit; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Sculptured Beach.
While you're here at Coast Trail you have to go to Point Resistance. There's so much to do here at Coast Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Coast Campground is a delightful site for that. A quick trip to Coast Creek near Coast Trail is a magnificent idea, and Point Reyes National Seashore is one of the destinations that are fine to pop by close by. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading. It's a glorious idea to pop by Santa Maria Creek, it's near Coast Trail, and if you came to camp Sky Campground is a fine spot to do that.
