Clear Creek National Recreation Trail sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls throughout December while July is regularly the driest month. The total elevation difference for this great outdoors hiking trail is 3,925 feet which is higher than average. At Clear Creek National Recreation Trail during the months of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in  
temperatures descend down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Clear Creek National Recreation Trail dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. Backcountry hiking here in the Coast Ranges is a great way to explore these mountaintops. This is one of a very small number of hiking trails in this area. This region does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Now, this is roughly a 5.5-day walk, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Keep in mind that this is a long hiking and backpacking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Coast Ranges, too brilliant to be true. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Clear Creek National Recreation Trail has to offer, you can camp at Dillion Creek Campground; get drenched paddling on Klamath River. While staying at Clear Creek National Recreation Trail you could always explore Little Bear Valley; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Wilderness Falls.
Don't leave Clear Creek National Recreation Trail without first paying a visit to Elbow Spring. Oregon Caves National Monument is a great spot in close proximity to Clear Creek National Recreation Trail, and if you're here, do take a spree to Runaway Point.
