California hiking trails - Clark Trail, Santa Ana Mountains, San Diego County

You should count on this hike taking about 6.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. There's not much
    difference in elevation along the great outdoors trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry walk. The length of Clark Trail is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a perfect backcountry hiking trail for
experienced backcountry hikers in great shape. This is one of many backcountry hiking trails in the surrounding neighborhood. Not much precipitation falls here at Clark Trail; the month of February is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. At parts of the year this area sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. This great outdoors trail has a total elevation difference of 1,415 feet, and that is about average. Now this backpacking and hiking  
trail is pretty long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Clark Trail is 7.2 miles long it's a mid length backcountry walk. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. A short journey to White Oak Springs is always worthwhile; camping at Lower San Juan Campground is always a fine experience.
At Clark Trail you always meet someone from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana. Cold Spring Canyon is a fine place to go to in close proximity to Clark Trail, and everyone loves Indian Potrero.
