This wilderness trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of backpacking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. You should count on this trek taking about 6.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Being 7.4 miles long it's a mid length hike. Chorro Grande Trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the wilderness trail. This region does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. This is a long backpacking and hiking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies.
