Briefly about the general area:
There's no way someone can get bored here in the Sierra Madre. A short spree to McGuire Spring is always worthwhile,
and if you came for an overnight stay Chorro Springs Campground is a fine spot to camp. A spree to Chorro Grande Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Raspberry Spring; Chorro Grande Canyon is beyond doubt a magnificent place to explore.
You'll wish for more hours
in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Chorro Grande Trail. There's some flowing water close by, Burro Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay; Reyes Campground is a great campground nearby. Ladybug Creek flows through this region, and if you're looking for a great journey, Channel Islands National Park is reasonably near.
