Backcountry hiking here in California is a must. Now, this is roughly a 1.5-day hike, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. There's not much difference in elevation along Cherry Point Trail which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. Keep
in mind that this is a long backpacking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies.

is a nice local campground, and soar down the rapids of Yuba River - South Fork in a kayak. Paddling on Yuba River - South Fork is so much fun, and Sterling Lake Campground is a pleasant campground here. Little Granite Creek is in the vicinity of Cherry Point Trail and is always
a bliss to visit, and don't leave Cherry Point Trail without first paying a visit to Meadow Spring. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a pleasant time. A nice spot to check out close to Cherry Point Trail is Little Granite Canyon; don’t forget to pop by Big Valley
while you're here at Cherry Point Trail. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to return back home again. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Tadpole Spring, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Truckee-Grass Valley
for sure. Take a little visit to Big Granite Creek if you're here at Cherry Point Trail, and Pelham Flat is a wonderful location here at Cherry Point Trail.
