California hiking trails - Cannell Meadow Trail, Southern Sierra Nevada, Kern County

   
  There are plenty of backpacking and hiking trails in California; each one of them has something unique to offer. You'll need to go far from Bakersfield to get to Cannell Meadow Trail, but backcountry hiking along this hiking and backpacking trail is very fun. Backcountry backpacking in California is so much fun. This is a long wilderness hiking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. This area does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. The length of Cannell
    Meadow Trail is on the longer side having an average number of uphill miles which makes it an excellent wilderness trail for experienced walkers in good shape. Now, this is roughly a 3-day walk, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. These hiking and backpacking
trails here in the Southern Sierra Nevada are the best way to enjoy these mountaintops. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. With so many outdoors pastimes available in California you'll never get bored. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Cannell Meadow Trail in Kern County, California is a really glorious site to spend some time. The total elevation difference for Cannell Meadow Trail is 5,112 feet which is higher than average. Wilderness hiking trails are wonderful  
and plentiful in California; Cannell Meadow Trail in Kern County is one of them. The amount of precipitation that falls at Cannell Meadow Trail is near the national average; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Some parts of Cannell Meadow Trail are much higher up than other parts of the wilderness hiking trail, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Cannell Meadow Trail is 21.4 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry walk. There are not too many wilderness trails in this area. Cannell Meadow Trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry hike it normally. Summertime highs at Cannell Meadow Trail commonly tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's; night lows at Cannell Meadow Trail throughout the wintertime mostly plunge into the 20's.

Yeah, come here to Cannell Meadow Trail for a glorious time. If you're here at Cannell Meadow Trail, you could check out Bull Run Creek, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kern River. Cannell Meadow Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Rivernook Campground is a wonderful local campground, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Brush Creek. If you came to camp Camp James is a pleasant spot to do that; a tour to Andress Spring will fill your spirit with perfect feelings.
A tour to Pine Flat invigorates the spirit; you might also want to pay a visit to Short Canyon if you're here at Cannell Meadow Trail. All year is a nice time in the Southern Sierra Nevada if you have a thing about the outdoors. Robinson Bay is in close proximity and always great to check out, and it's a tremendous idea to check out Caldwell Creek.
