California hiking trails - Burnt Peak Trail, Sierra Madre, Los Angeles County

   
  Here in the great state of California backpacking is something that is always fun to do. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in the great outdoors a bit, and Burnt Peak Trail in Los Angeles County, California is such a glorious site. Wilderness trails are great and plentiful in California; Burnt Peak Trail is one of them, and it's in Los Angeles County. The total elevation difference for Burnt Peak Trail is 2,196 feet which is about average. Burnt Peak Trail is 8.6 miles long it's an average length backpacking and hiking trail. The time
    needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 8 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. This is just one of a large number of wilderness trails in this region. Some parts
of this backpacking and hiking trail are much higher up than other parts of the backpacking and hiking trail, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Burnt Peak Trail has two trailheads, so backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Every backcountry trail in California has something unique to offer. Burnt Peak Trail is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. For the duration of the summer months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Burnt Peak Trail, and the night is a little  
chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Burnt Peak Trail sink into the 30's. This part of California has a splendid deal of available outdoors things to do. The length of this hiking trail is about average with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this wilderness trail pleasant for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Backcountry trails like this one here in the Sierra Madre are a really good way to spend quality time in the fresh air. Quite far from Bakersfield you encounter Burnt Peak Trail, but backpacking and hiking trails like these are brilliant. Sometimes this backpacking and hiking trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Burnt Peak Trail is pretty dried up commonly; the month with most of the rain is February while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Briefly about the general area:
If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Sierra Madre. It's a tremendous idea to have a look at Fish Creek, it's near Burnt Peak Trail; camping is available at Atmore Meadows Campground. Lion Canyon is in the vicinity of Burnt Peak Trail and is a great spot; a pleasant place like Atmore Meadows here at Burnt Peak Trail is too great to miss.
If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Piru Creek It's always perfect to stop at Cienaga Spring. And that's not all you can do here at Burnt Peak Trail. Camping at Sawmill Campground is always a great experience, and you have to unquestionably dedicate some time to Necktie Basin while you're here at Burnt Peak Trail.
