California hiking trails - Burnt Peak Trail, Sierra Madre, Los Angeles County

   
  There are many great wilderness trails in California; one of them being Burnt Peak Trail in Los Angeles County. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in the outdoors a bit, and Burnt Peak Trail in Los Angeles County, California is such a glorious spot. Hiking here in California is always an enjoyable thing to do. This is a backcountry trail that is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Sometimes this backcountry trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities
    before you head out. Backpacking here in the Sierra Madre is a wonderful way to explore these highlands. The time needed for this backcountry trek is roughly 8 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. It's a long trip from
Bakersfield to Burnt Peak Trail, but it sure is a a glorious hiking and backpacking trail. Different parts of Burnt Peak Trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. California is a wonderful outdoors state. This great outdoors trail has two trailheads, so backcountry trekking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. This great outdoors trail is a mid length great outdoors trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this hiking trail perfect for  
hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Every single California wilderness trail has its own unique attractiveness. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in spot. With its 8.6 miles of walking distance it's an average length backpacking and hiking trail. Around Burnt Peak Trail you don’t get a lot of rainfall; during February this area sees the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This is an area covered with lots of hiking trails. Throughout the months of summer at Burnt Peak Trail temperatures are frequently in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Burnt Peak Trail. This great outdoors trail has a total elevation difference of 2,196 feet, and that is about average.

Briefly about the general area:
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area near Burnt Peak Trail has to offer. Camping at Atmore Meadows Campground is always a brilliant experience, and soar down the rapids of Piru Creek in a kayak.
There's some flowing water close by, Fish Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here; Atmore Meadows is a fine place. Since you're here at Burnt Peak Trail why not go to Lion Canyon, and a journey to Necktie Basin rejuvenates the spirit. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Sierra Madre. Burnt Peak Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Sawmill Campground is a great local campground, and Cienaga Spring is always fun to check out.
