California hiking trails - Burnside Lake Trail, Northern Sierra Nevada, Alpine County

   
  Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Burnside Lake Trail in Alpine County, California is a fine location to go. California has lots of outdoors activities. Burnside Lake Trail is not very right next door to Gardnerville Ranchos at all, but if you're looking for a fine location to go backpacking, this is a fine pick. Each one of the many wilderness trails of California is well worth a backcountry trek. During the summertime here at Burnside Lake Trail, high temperatures typically reach the 70's, and through summer
    nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Burnside Lake Trail through the winter commonly descend into the 10's. Wilderness hiking trails for backcountry backpacking, and backpacking can be found all over California;
among these are Burnside Lake Trail in Alpine County. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Keep in mind that this is a long great outdoors trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Here in California backcountry backpacking is the great thing to do. The time needed for this trek is roughly 5.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. The length of this hiking trail is about average with very little uphill walking involved which makes this a very tough wilderness hiking trail for advanced backcountry  
trekkers looking for a magnificent challenge. All the water falling down from the sky makes Burnside Lake Trail a wet place; most of the snow falls all through January while July is usually the driest month. Sometimes this great outdoors trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This backcountry trail goes through some very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the backcountry trail could be very different from other parts of it. There are not too many wilderness hiking trails in this region. These hiking trails here in the Northern Sierra Nevada are a really great way to spend quality time in the outdoors. Burnside Lake Trail is a two ended hiking trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. The total elevation difference for this hiking trail is 2,762 feet which is a higher than average number. With its 6.8 miles of walking distance it's an average length backcountry trail.

Briefly about the general area:
There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Carson River - East Fork; why not camp at Toiyabe Campground if you're here at Burnside Lake Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing things the area in the vicinity of Burnside Lake Trail has to offer. Sawmill Creek flows through this area, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Grover Hot Springs.
Places like Charity Valley are fine to have a look at; if you come at the right time of year, Carson River - East Fork offers some brilliant whitewater. That right there is a load of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. Soda Spring is an inspiring site to stop at while you're here, and camping at Burnside Lake Trail is brilliant fun, Crystal Springs Campground is a brilliant local campground. Charity Valley Creek is a stream that you may encounter while you're here, and a pleasant place to go to nearby is Millberry Canyon.
You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There are plenty of people from Gardnerville Ranchos here at Burnside Lake Trail.
