Being 7.2 miles long it's a mid length backcountry trek.

Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the neighborhood of Bull Run Cattle Drive. Bull Run Meadow is a great spot to check out; people from Bakersfield love to come here. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Drift down the rapids of Kern River in a kayak; there's a forest here called Deer Creek Grove.
Since you're here at Bull Run Cattle Drive why not check out Fir Camp Saddle, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Brush Creek. Poison Meadow is a magnificent site, and why not camp at Panorama Campground while you're here at Bull Run Cattle Drive. Camping is available at Gooseberry Campground, and Water Gap Spring is a wonderful local attraction.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Sierra Nevada. Put some time aside to spend at Cold Spring since you're here at Bull Run Cattle Drive.
