California hiking trails - Bull Run Cattle Drive, Southern Sierra Nevada, Tulare County

This great outdoors trail is a mid length great outdoors trail having an
    average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough hiking trail for advanced backcountry hikers looking for a good challenge. The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 6.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. There are two
trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so backcountry backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. These great outdoors trails here in the Southern Sierra Nevada are a really glorious way to spend quality time in the wilderness. All through the summer at Bull Run Cattle Drive temperatures are typically in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Bull Run Cattle Drive. Bull Run Cattle Drive is 7.2 miles  
long it's a mid length backcountry hike. This is a long great outdoors trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. The total elevation difference for this wilderness hiking trail is 1,739 feet, and that is about average. The annual precipitation here at Bull Run Cattle Drive is about average; January is the wettest month with most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Bull Run Cattle Drive goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the trail. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Every California trail is charming in its own way. Bull Run Cattle Drive is a long drive away from Bakersfield, but hiking trails like these are great. This is one of a very small number of hiking trails in this vicinity. Backcountry trails for backcountry backpacking, and backpacking can be found all over California; among these are Bull Run Cattle Drive in Tulare County.

Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things near Bull Run Cattle Drive. Water Gap Spring is an inspiring location to visit while here, and if you came to camp Gooseberry Campground is a wonderful site to do that. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Bull Run Cattle Drive is great enough to spend more than a day at, Panorama Campground is a great local campground; Fir Camp Saddle is also a pleasant place to explore.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Brush Creek, and a forest close by is Deer Creek Grove. There are some good whitewater spots on Kern River, and don’t forget to have a look at Poison Meadow while you're here at Bull Run Cattle Drive. You'll meet a lot of folks from Bakersfield here, and a spree to Bull Run Cattle Drive wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Cold Spring.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Sierra Nevada. Bull Run Meadow is a magnificent place here at Bull Run Cattle Drive.
