California hiking trails - Bucknell Trail, Klamath Mountains, Lake County

You'll have to go far from Clearlake to get to Bucknell Trail, but backcountry hiking along this great outdoors trail is very enjoyable. miles of walking distance it's a mid length walk. Here in the pleasant state of California backcountry trekking is so much fun. The trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your walk. All through the warm days of summer here at Bucknell Trail, high temperatures mostly get into the 90's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's; nighttime lows in the 30's for Bucknell Trail. Backcountry hiking in California is  
such a tremendous thing to do. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Bucknell Trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry trek it just one way. These wilderness hiking trails here in the Klamath Mountains are the best way to enjoy these peaks. This is not a very long hiking and backpacking trail but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. The total elevation difference for Bucknell Trail is 1,210 feet which is an average number. Bucknell Trail gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily January, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July. Sometimes this hiking and backpacking trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go.

While you're here at Bucknell Trail it's a splendid idea to visit Richardson Glade, and Wild Bill Creek is near Bucknell Trail and is always a pleasure to have a look at. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more enjoyable stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. Royal Spring is a gorgeous place to stop at while you're at Bucknell Trail, and Stony Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot close by.
Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are truly abundant here at Bucknell Trail. If you're here, you might as well explore Swede Canyon. Bucknell Trail is a site with many visitors from Clearlake, and Mill Valley Campground is a pleasant local campground. Bucknell Trail is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Bear Creek Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby, and some close by water includes Twin Valley.
