California hiking trails - Bucklin Trail, Marin County

   
  Each backpacking and hiking trail in California is different from the others. Here in California backcountry backpacking is a perfect way to spend some time. It's a long trip from Santa Rosa-Petaluma to Bucklin Trail, but if you're looking for a wonderful location to go backcountry backpacking, this is a wonderful choice. There are so many perfect backpacking and hiking trails for backcountry backpacking in California; Bucklin Trail in Marin County is one of them. The total elevation difference for Bucklin Trail is 1,314 feet which is an average number. There
    are so many trails in this region. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Bucklin Trail in Marin County, California is a wonderful choice. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so if you can get a ride from someone,
you can hike it just one way. With its 3.4 miles of walking distance it's a shorter type hike. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bucklin Trail a wet site; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is July. The time needed for this backcountry trek is roughly 3 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. All through the summer at Bucklin Trail temperatures are typically in the 60's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs through  
the winter are generally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Bucklin Trail are in the 40's. Bucklin Trail is a very short backcountry trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a brilliant trail for the average person looking for a brilliant adventure. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in spot. Bucklin Trail is not that long but it's always nice to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Outdoors people generally like this part of California. The wilderness hiking trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish.

Briefly about the general area:
There's some attention-grabbing stuff to catch a glimpse of at Upper Estero Dam right next door to Bucklin Trail; the wonderful folks of Santa Rosa-Petaluma like to hang out close by. Teachers Beach is close to Bucklin Trail and is a striking beach to check out; Bucklin Trail is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Coast Campground is a pleasant local campground.
This is a great river. You have to without doubt have a look at beautiful Shell Beach since you're here at Bucklin Trail; Muddy Hollow is a pretty place any time of year. Camping at Sky Campground is always a great experience, and Point Reyes National Seashore is one of the destinations that are good to stop by nearby. Having a good time at Bucklin Trail is painless.
