California hiking trails - Buckhorn Trail, Sierra Madre, Santa Barbara County

at different elevations. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. This is a one trailhead backcountry trail, so in and out is the way to walk it normally. Backcountry trekking here in the Sierra Madre is a really pleasant way to spend quality time in the wilderness. Summertime highs at Buckhorn Trail usually tend to be in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are

Buckhorn Trail is a place with many visitors from Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-Goleta, and Hidden Potrero is a splendid place. Having a great time at Buckhorn Trail is painless. Just can't get enough of the Sierra Madre. If time allows, Channel Islands National Park is a national park worth stopping at; there's some flowing water close by, Buckhorn Creek is a stream you can explore while you're here.
