California hiking trails - Buck Ridge Trail, Klamath Mountains, Trinity County

Of course, this is an overnight trek, 3 days normally, so it's a brilliant thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. For the period of the warm days of summer at Buck Ridge Trail highs are frequently
    in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and overnight lows through the winter for Buck Ridge Trail tend to be in the 30's. Buck Ridge Trail gets a typical amount of precipitation; throughout January this neighborhood
sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. At parts of the year this region sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. This is a long trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. This is a two-ended backcountry hiking trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can walk it just one way. Every hiking and backpacking trail in California has something unique to offer. Buck Ridge Trail goes through some very different elevations, so  
keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Buck Ridge Trail being so far away from the nearest city, it is one of many good hiking and backpacking trails in this neighborhood.

Wrights Valley is in the neighborhood of Buck Ridge Trail and is certainly a tremendous place to stop at, and Buck Ridge Trail is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Root Spring Campground is a glorious local campground. Water Spout Spring is a pretty place to check out while you're at Buck Ridge Trail, and some nearby water includes Balm of Gilead Creek. A pleasant spree to Haynes Delight is a magnificent way to spend an afternoon. There's so much to do here at Buck Ridge Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Hammerhorn Campground is a delightful place for that.
And that's not all you can do here in the Klamath Mountains. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mad River, and getting to Schoolmarm Creek from Buck Ridge Trail is easy. Waterspout is a perfect local attraction; Eel River - North Fork has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby.
