California hiking trails - Bootjack Trail, Marin County

   
  Every great outdoors trail in California is well worth a backcountry trek. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Bootjack Trail in Marin County, California is just the spot. California has plenty of wonderful great outdoors trails; Bootjack Trail in Marin County is one of them. Bootjack Trail gets very little rain; January is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. When you're here in California hiking along one of its great outdoors trails is a perfect way to
    spend some time. This trek shouldn't take more than 2 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. California has so much to offer the great outdoors lovers. Even though this is not a very long backcountry hiking trail you should
still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. This is a region covered with lots of trails. Bootjack Trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Bootjack Trail is a wilderness hiking trail pretty far from San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont, but wilderness hiking trails like these are pleasant. This backpacking trail is a very short backpacking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it an outstanding trail for the average person looking  
for an outstanding adventure. Bootjack Trail has a total elevation difference of 950 feet which is a lower than average number. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. With its 2.2 miles of walking distance it's a shorter type trek. Summertime highs at Bootjack Trail ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 50's; overnight lows all through the wintertime for Bootjack Trail tend to be in the 30's. Bootjack Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole trail. At parts of the year this area sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire.

Briefly about the general area:
Bootjack Trail is a delightful place to camp, Laurel Dell Campground is a delightful place, and unsurprisingly Laguna Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth going to. Muir Woods National Monument is one of the destinations in the vicinity of Bootjack Trail that are great to go to, and everyone loves Double Bowknot.
During your stay at Bootjack Trail do have a look at nearby Muir Beach; you'll meet a lot of people from San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont here. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do in the vicinity of Bootjack Trail. Camping at Bootjack Trail is wonderful fun, Haypress Campground is a wonderful local campground, and great water scenery is available at Cascade Dam close to Bootjack Trail. Cathedral Grove is worth stopping at, and time spent at Red Rock Beach is always great.
A fine place to have a look at near Bootjack Trail is Redwood Canyon, and do go to Fern Creek while you're here at Bootjack Trail.
