You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while, and if you happen to be in Marin County of California, Bootjack Trail is a wonderful local backcountry trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Bootjack Trail is not very next to San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont at all, but it sure is a a wonderful backcountry trail. The time needed for this walk is roughly 2 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. you go. Bootjack Trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Every great outdoors hiking trail in California has something unique to offer. This is one of many trails in the surrounding region.
Bootjack Trail gets very little rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. With its 2.2 miles of walking distance it's a short great outdoors trail.
Briefly about the general area: Here at Bootjack Trail you'll possibly
meet some folks from San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont, and why not a little side journey to Laguna Creek. A day at picturesque Red Rock Beach near Bootjack Trail is a glorious thing to do; Bootjack Trail is in close proximity to Redwood Canyon which is unquestionably worth checking
out. Bootjack Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Haypress Campground is a great local campground, and Double Bowknot is a brilliant place to stretch your legs a bit. A nice location to camp here at Bootjack Trail is Laurel Dell Campground; Cascade Dam is an
attention-grabbing thing to check out. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do close to Bootjack Trail. Time spent at Muir Beach in the vicinity of Bootjack Trail is always tremendous, and a journey to Muir Woods National Monument is worthwhile. Cathedral Grove is a glorious forest vicinity next to Bootjack Trail, and swing by Fern Creek it's a tremendous place to stop at.
