California hiking trails - Bolema Trail, Marin County

if your backpack is big enough to do the job. Bolema Trail is a wet spot that gets a large amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You'll have got to go far from Santa Rosa-Petaluma to get to Bolema Trail, but It's always exciting to backcountry trek here. Being 12 miles long; it's a long hiking and backpacking trail. At parts of the year this neighborhood sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This is an  
area covered with lots of wilderness hiking trails. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. Every California backpacking and hiking trail is well worth a backcountry trek. The total elevation difference for this backcountry hiking trail is 970 feet which is a lower than average number. Now this backcountry hiking trail is pretty long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. This is a one trailhead backcountry hiking trail, so in and out is the way to trek it normally. Throughout the summertime months at Bolema Trail highs are regularly in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Bolema Trail.

Briefly about the general area:
It's always glorious to have a look at Alamere Falls, and a great location is Cottinham Gulch. Take a little journey to Devils Gulch Creek since you're here at Bolema Trail, and a day at Wildcat Beach is time well spent.
Man, is there a load of cool stuff to do in close proximity to Bolema Trail. Stay the night at Lower Campground, and while you're here here do visit close by Palomarin Beach. Bolema Trail is a great location to visit for more than one day, Glen Campground is a great location to camp nearby; a delightful spot like Divide Meadow here at Bolema Trail is too great to miss.
Abalone Point is in the vicinity of Bolema Trail and is a glorious location to stop by; do pay a visit to Point Reyes National Seashore since you're here at Bolema Trail. Put some time aside to spend at Crystal Springs while you're here at Bolema Trail; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Mill Pond Dam. Alamere Creek is in close proximity to Bolema Trail and is always a delight to go to, and you must without doubt dedicate some time to Paradise Valley while you're here at Bolema Trail.
