January this region sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The number of hiking trails in this area is not very high. The total elevation difference for this great outdoors hiking trail is 2,510 feet, and that is higher than average.
At Bluford Trail through the summer highs are in the 90's while night lows are typically in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Bluford Trail night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. Sometimes this backpacking and hiking trail gets
really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go.
Briefly about the general area: Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Bluford Trail. Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is one of the destinations
in the neighborhood of Bluford Trail that are great to go to. There's some flowing water close by, Chanchelulla Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay, and Deer Lick Springs is a good local attraction. Anderson Point is near Bluford Trail and is a great location
to pop by, and get covered with water paddling on Cottonwood Creek - Middle Fork. Beegum Gorge Campground is a splendid local campground, and glide down the rapids of Beegum Creek in a kayak. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Klamath Mountains. Why not camp at Basin Gulch Campgrounds since you're here at Bluford Trail, and Bluford Gulch is a great location to stop by.
