California hiking trails - Blake Trail, Coast Ranges, Humboldt County

   
  It's a long trip from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna to Blake Trail, but backpacking trails like these are pleasant. When you're here in California trekking along one of its great outdoors hiking trails never gets boring. All the water falling down from the sky makes Blake Trail a wet place; December is when you get the most rain here while July is regularly the driest month. This hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 3,420 feet,
    and that is higher than average. Summertime highs at Blake Trail mostly tend to be in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's; night lows at Blake Trail through the winter typically
dip into the 30's. This is a long great outdoors hiking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Different parts of Blake Trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the backpacking trail could be very different from other parts of it. This is one of many hiking trails in the surrounding region. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Every California great outdoors hiking trail is worth trekking. With its 9 miles of walking distance it's a mid length backcountry hike. This area  
does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Blake Trail is a mid-length wilderness hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this hiking trail perfect for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Gotta get out of the city man, and Blake Trail in Humboldt County, California is such an outstanding place. The time needed for this backcountry trek is roughly 8 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. California is a wonderful spot for backcountry hikers. The wilderness hiking trails of the Coast Ranges are a really nice way to spend quality time in the great outdoors. This hiking trail has two trailheads, so backcountry hiking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back.

Briefly about the general area:
This spot, the Coast Ranges, has so much outdoors amusing things. While you're here at Blake Trail it's a great idea to pop by Carson Opening; Mad River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by. A pleasant spree to Day Opening is a great way to spend an afternoon, and don't leave Blake Trail without first paying a visit to Mud Spring.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Blake Trail. Camping at Blake Spring Campground is always a delightful experience; don't forget to take a tremendous little journey to Owl Creek. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Trinity River - South Fork; since you're here why not go to Lucy Gulch. It's a wonderful idea to take a look at East Creek, it's next to Blake Trail, and a spree to Pistol Spring will fill your soul with great feelings.
So much cool stuff to do in the Coast Ranges, not enough time. Camping is available at Slide Creek Campground; you'll in all probability meet some folks from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna here.
