California hiking trails - Black Mountain Trail, Southern Sierra Nevada, Tulare County

   
  Black Mountain Trail is not very in close proximity to Visalia-Porterville at all, but it is a wonderful backcountry trail. Each hiking and backpacking trail in California has its own character. There are so many delightful hiking and backpacking trails for backcountry trekking in California; among these are Black Mountain Trail in Tulare County. A visit to California is not complete without some backcountry trekking. This is a wilderness trail that is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. And keep in mind that there could be temporary
    safety restrictions in site. The number of backcountry hiking trails in this area is not very high. Black Mountain Trail goes through some very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the wilderness hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it. Black
Mountain Trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry hike it just one way. If you happen to be in California, why not go backcountry trekking, it is always an amusing thing to do. Of course, this is an overnight walk, 2 days normally, so it's an excellent thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Being 12.6 miles long; it's a long wilderness hiking  
trail. Summer at Black Mountain Trail comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Black Mountain Trail temperatures drop to the 30's. An average amount of precipitation falls at Black Mountain Trail; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is July. Trails like this one here in the Southern Sierra Nevada are a glorious way to explore these mountaintops. The total elevation difference for Black Mountain Trail is 4,286 feet which is higher than average. The length of this trail is on the longer side having an average number of uphill miles which makes this backcountry hiking trail fine for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Finally, trekking time is here again, and Black Mountain Trail in Tulare County, California is a wonderful spot for getting out.

Briefly about the general area:
Be careful coming to Black Mountain Trail, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Crystal SPring is an inspiring place to check out while here. There's so much to do here at Black Mountain Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Painted Rock Campground is a pleasant place for that. If you would like a little side spree, try Coffee Canyon; some tremendous nature is available in Black Mountain Grove.
You can run the rapids of Kern River next to Black Mountain Trail, and it's a good idea to take a look at North Fork Middle Fork Tule River. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Southern Sierra Nevada. A wonderful place for whitewater paddling near Black Mountain Trail is Dry Meadow Creek, and everybody loves Mahogany Flat.
A spree to Black Mountain Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Ward Spring, and while you're here, you could stop at South Fork Middle Fork Tule River. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Joaquin Flat is right here at Black Mountain Trail, and you can stay the night at Coffee Camp Campground.
