California hiking trails - Big Valley Trail, Northern Sierra Nevada, Placer County

   
  You'll need to go far from Truckee-Grass Valley to get to Big Valley Trail, but you always have a wonderful time when you're backcountry backpacking along it. Hiking in California is such a brilliant thing to do. There are numerous hiking trails in California, and each one is striking in its own way. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Here in the nice state of California trekking is a great way to spend some time. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Big Valley Trail in Placer County, California is such a wonderful
    place. This is just one of a large number of backpacking and hiking trails in this region. High temperatures at Big Valley Trail through the long summer days are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows
in the 20's overnight here at Big Valley Trail. This great outdoors trail is a normal length great outdoors trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a fine backpacking and hiking trail for the average person looking for a fine adventure. The wilderness trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. A good deal of rain falls at Big Valley Trail; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. At parts of the  
year this area sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Big Valley Trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. California has plenty of nice hiking trails, and Big Valley Trail in Placer County is one of them. The total elevation difference for Big Valley Trail is 1,052 feet, and that is about average. Big Valley Trail is a two ended wilderness trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry hike it just one way. With its 5.6 miles of walking distance it's an average length wilderness trail. The wonderful great outdoors trails of the Northern Sierra Nevada are the best way to enjoy these mountaintops. The time needed for this hike is roughly 5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that.

This river is so wonderful. Big Valley Canyon is in close proximity to Big Valley Trail and is a brilliant place, and people from Truckee-Grass Valley love to come here. Big Valley is a magnificent place here at Big Valley Trail, and you can run the rapids of Yuba River - South Fork.
All the outdoors amusing things in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back time and again. Fordyce Creek is a delightful whitewater spot right next door to Big Valley Trail, and Big Valley Trail is a brilliant site to camp, Silver Tip Campground is a brilliant site. Any time is a great time at Big Valley Trail if you love the outdoors. Meadow Spring is a delightful local attraction. Camping at Big Valley Trail is magnificent fun, Kelly Lake Campground is a magnificent local campground, and don’t forget to explore Mears Meadow while you're here at Big Valley Trail.
