California hiking trails - Big Valley Trail, Northern Sierra Nevada, Placer County

in the 80's at Big Valley Trail while overnight lows are frequently in the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Big Valley Trail. The wonderful backcountry hiking trails of the Northern Sierra Nevada are the best way to enjoy these hills. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. The time needed for this backcountry hike is roughly 5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This backcountry hiking trail is a normal length backcountry hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a good backcountry hiking trail for the average person looking for a good adventure. Any time is a good time at Big Valley Trail if you go for the outdoors. You're sure to bump into some great people from Truckee-Grass Valley here. There's whitewater on Yuba River - South Fork for all you adrenaline junkies, and a magnificent spot to camp here at Big Valley Trail is Kelly Lake Campground. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a glorious time. Meadow Spring is a great local attraction, and Big Valley is a charming spot any time of year.
