California hiking trails - Big Spring Trail, Northern Sierra Nevada, Placer County

   
  California has so much to offer the outdoors lovers. Every California great outdoors hiking trail is well worth a walk. Big Spring Trail is a long journey away from Gardnerville Ranchos, but backpacking is such an enjoyable thing to do, and this is a good location to do that. This hike shouldn't take more than 2 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. You spend the whole backcountry walk in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry walk. There are
    great outdoors hiking trails all over California; Big Spring Trail in Placer County is one of them. This is a one trailhead backcountry trail, so you'll be trekking it in and back out. The total elevation difference for this backcountry trail is 289 feet which is a lower than average
number. This is a vicinity covered with lots of wilderness hiking trails. A good deal of precipitation falls at Big Spring Trail; the month with most of the rain is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Backcountry backpacking in California never gets boring. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit, and Big Spring Trail in Placer County, California is a good location to go. For the period of the summer months highs here at Big Spring Trail get into the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures  
drop down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Big Spring Trail. Big Spring Trail is a very short backpacking and hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a brilliant wilderness hiking trail for the average person looking for a brilliant adventure. This backpacking and hiking trail is not that long but it's always tremendous to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. Backpacking here in the Northern Sierra Nevada is the best way to enjoy these mountaintops. Big Spring Trail is 2.2 miles long it's shorter than many wilderness hiking trails. This backpacking and hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping.

A spree to Big Spring will fill your soul with good feelings, and Grouse Canyon is absolutely a great location to explore. Having a great time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is simple. Some of the water close by flows, like Whisky Creek, and Bear Creek Campground is a glorious campground nearby.
Big Spring Trail is a perfect site to visit for more than one day, Pleasant Boat-In Campground is a perfect site to camp nearby.
