Hoaglin Valley is right next door to Ben Duncan Mailbox Trail and is a good site, and obviously Cottonwood Creek flows through this vicinity. Glide down the rapids of Eel River - North Fork in a kayak, and Schoolhouse Spring is a stunning spot to stop at while you're at Ben Duncan Mailbox Trail.
