Summertime at Bear Creek Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Bear Creek Trail. Splendid trails in California are in abundance; one of them being Bear Creek Trail in Siskiyou County. Each one of the many trails of California is well worth a walk. The number of  
great outdoors hiking trails in this region is not very high. Bear Creek Trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. With its 14.2 miles of walking distance; it's a long backpacking trail. Bear Creek Trail is not very in close proximity to Medford at all, but when you trek it you're always having an outstanding time. Bear Creek Trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backpacking trail. This is a hiking trail that is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Wilderness hiking trails like this one here in the Siskiyou Mountains are the best way to enjoy these mountaintops.

Camping at Bear Creek Trail is great fun, Tree of Heaven Campground is a great local campground It's always nice to stop by Maple Grove Spring. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Siskiyou Mountains.
You ought to check out Humbug Point when you're here at Bear Creek Trail, and there's some flowing water close by, Longfellow Creek is a stream you can stop by during your stay. Maple Spring is a great local attraction, and a fine spot to check out is Lime Gulch. This river is so great. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Klamath River, and let's not forget Bear Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here.
And that's not all you can do here at Bear Creek Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Shasta River offers some perfect whitewater; Waiiaka Trailer Haven is a great campground here.
