This great outdoors hiking trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry backpacking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. The total elevation difference for Bear Creek Trail is 3,136 feet which is a higher than average number. This walk should take you about 2 days, so it's a splendid thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. Bear Creek Trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out.
