California hiking trails - Baldy Trail, San Gabriel Mountains, Los Angeles County

   
  Going for a backcountry hike here in California is something that is always fun to do. It's a lengthy trip from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana to Baldy Trail, but it's one of those sites where trekking is nice. There are numerous hiking trails in California, and each one is different from the others. This is a backpacking trail that is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. There are two trailheads to chose from, one
    in each end, so trekking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Baldy Trail is a nice place of common rain; February is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is July. This backpacking trail is a very long backpacking trail having an
average number of uphill miles which makes this backcountry hiking trail pleasant for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Through the summer months, highs commonly are in the 90's at Baldy Trail with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's with temperatures at Baldy Trail dipping down into the 40's through winter nights. This backcountry hike should take you about 2 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Baldy Trail has a total elevation difference of 7,055 feet which is a higher than average  
number. Backcountry hiking trails like this one here in the San Gabriel Mountains are the best way to enjoy these highlands. Hiking and backpacking trails for trekking, and backpacking can be found all over California, and Baldy Trail in Los Angeles County is one of them. If you're here at Baldy Trail, you could go to Telegraph Wash; you'll meet a lot of people from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana here. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. It's a tremendous idea to have a look at Big Butch Wash, it's close to Baldy Trail; a magnificent site to camp here at Baldy Trail is Crystal Lake Deer Flats Group - Angeles National Forest.
Yeah, come up here to the San Gabriel Mountains for a nice time. Baldy Trail is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Crystal Lake - Angeles National Forest is a fine local campground, and West Fork Bear Canyon is another glorious place to stop at close by. A trip to San Antonio Falls will fill your spirit with magnificent feelings, and Bear Flat is a stunning place any time of year. Put some time aside to spend at Columbine Spring if you're here at Baldy Trail; Manker Flat is a splendid site to check out.
Be careful coming to the San Gabriel Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again.
