  Here in California backcountry trekking is so much fun. Finally, backpacking time is here again, and Bailey Trail in Los Angeles County, California is a really glorious spot to spend some time. Bailey Trail is situated a relatively lengthy trip from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura, but when you spend some time backpacking here you will feel like a whole new person. With so many outdoors things to do available in California you'll never get bored. Bailey Trail is a one trailhead great outdoors trail, so you'll be backpacking it in and back out. Sometimes this
    wilderness trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Bailey Trail is pretty dehydrated mostly; February is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Summertime
at Bailey Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Bailey Trail dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. There are plenty of great outdoors trails in California; each one of them has something unique to offer. Bailey Trail is 7.2 miles long it's a mid length walk. There's not much difference in elevation along the backcountry trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your  
walk. This is just one of a large number of backpacking trails in this neighborhood. There are so many great great outdoors trails for backcountry trekking in California; Bailey Trail is one of them, and it's in Los Angeles County. Keep in mind that this is a long wilderness trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. The hiking trails of the Sierra Madre are the best way to enjoy these summits. This great outdoors trail has a total elevation difference of 1,111 feet which is an average number. The time needed for this walk is roughly 6.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This hiking trail is a normal length hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough backpacking trail for advanced backcountry hikers looking for an excellent challenge. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go.

Briefly about the general area:
If you came for an overnight stay Hardluck Campground is a great spot to camp, and if you come at the right time of year, Piru Creek offers some great whitewater. Fish Creek flows through this neighborhood, and glide down the rapids of Piru Creek in a kayak.
Coming to this river is always a good idea. You have to without doubt dedicate some time to Frenchmans Flat if you're here at Bailey Trail, and Royball Spring is always fun to check out. Having a great time in the Sierra Madre is trouble-free. A quick tour to Gorman Creek right next door to Bailey Trail is a great idea. So many entertaining things next to Bailey Trail, absolutely incredible. Camping is available at Los Alamos Campground, and a visit to Nugget Point is always a great idea.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the Sierra Madre has to offer. Put some time aside to spend at Beartrap Spring since you're here at Bailey Trail, and Beartrap Canyon is also a glorious location to discover.
