There is only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out walk. This is a long backpacking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Bailey Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your walk. At parts of the year this region sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Bailey Trail is 7.2 miles long it's a mid length walk. The total elevation difference for this great outdoors trail is 1,111 feet, and that is about average. This backcountry trek shouldn't take more than 6.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster.
