Here in California backcountry hiking is a glorious idea. Each great outdoors hiking trail in California is worth backcountry hiking. Allison Trail is a long tour away from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana, but it is a really fine hiking trail. Wilderness hiking trails for backcountry hiking, and backpacking can be found all over California; among these are Allison Trail in Los Angeles County. Allison Trail is 17 miles long; it's longer than many backpacking trails. Sometimes
    this great outdoors trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Backpacking here in the San Gabriel Mountains is the best way to enjoy these mountains. California has lots of outdoors things to
do. Gotta get out of the settlement man, and Allison Trail in Los Angeles County, California is just what you need. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Now this great outdoors trail is pretty long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Allison Trail gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; through February this region sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. This great outdoors hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be backcountry trekking it in and back out. Allison Trail has a total elevation  
difference of 5,495 feet which is a higher than average number. This is a vicinity covered with lots of backcountry trails. This hiking trail is a very long hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this backcountry trail great for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. At Allison Trail throughout the summertime highs are in the 90's with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 60's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Allison Trail. This backpacking trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Of course, this is an overnight trek, 2.5 days normally, so it's an excellent thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job.

Allison Trail is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Camp Williams Resort is a nice place to camp nearby; why not check out nearby Fish Fork while you're here at Allison Trail. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun stuff to do in the San Gabriel Mountains. Thompson Flat is a nice spot to stretch your legs a bit It's always brilliant to have a look at Fallen Leaf Spring. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do near Allison Trail. You don't must go far from Allison Trail to enjoy San Dimas Experimental Forest; Airplane Flat is a stunning location any time of year.
Iron Fork is a charming stream that is worth stopping at; Eldoradoville Campground is a tremendous local campground. Here at Allison Trail you'll in all probability meet some people from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana, and Blind Canyon is another tremendous site to go to close by. You simply must go for the San Gabriel Mountains. Forked Spruce Spring is a great local attraction.
