a ride back. This is just one of a large number of backcountry trails in this area. With its 5.8 miles of walking distance it's a mid length walk. The time needed for this hike is roughly 5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for
that. If you happen to be in Arizona, why not go hiking, it is a nice idea. Yankee Doodle Trail is usually a relatively waterless place; August is the month that gets the most rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month.

at Lower Wolf Creek Campground since you're here at Yankee Doodle Trail; do put some time aside to spend at Bones Spring while you're here at Yankee Doodle Trail. Hilltop Campground is a pleasant local campground, and Spence Spring is a magnificent local attraction. If you're here, you might as well explore Starlight Canyon, and you're sure to run into some nice folks from Prescott here.
