Tule Tank Wash is close to Winter Cabin Trail and is always a delight to pop by, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Verde River. Volunteer Wash is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit; don't leave Winter Cabin Trail without first
paying a visit to Winter Cabin Spring. Any time is a perfect time at Winter Cabin Trail if you like the outdoors. Tule Canyon is a fine site to spend some time at, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Oak Creek.
You should absolutely dedicate some time to Taylor Basin since you're here at Winter Cabin Trail.
