This trail has a total elevation difference of 405 feet which is lower than average. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Outdoors folks generally like this part of Arizona. Even though this is not a very long hiking trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Sometimes

Not much rain falls here at Walnut Canyon Loop Trail; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while June is usually the driest month. Walnut Canyon Loop Trail is on the short side having an average number of uphill miles which makes it an excellent wilderness trail for the average person looking for an excellent adventure. This is one of a very small number of wilderness trails in this vicinity.
