This hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 405 feet, and that is lower than average. There's not much difference in elevation along Walnut Canyon Loop Trail which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. At parts of the year this vicinity sees very little rain, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Being .7 miles long it's a short great outdoors hiking trail. This hike shouldn't take more than .5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Even though this is not a very long wilderness trail it's always tremendous to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen.
