This is a backpacking and hiking trail that is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. With its 115.6 miles of walking distance; it's considered a longer hike. This backpacking and hiking trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need
to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backpacking and hiking trail. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Tuckup Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,952 feet which
is about average. Here in Arizona backcountry trekking is something that is always fun to do.
Briefly about the general area: Places like Dome Pocket are great to take a look at, and if you would like a little side journey, try Cottonwood Canyon. Mohawk Creek is one
of the streams close by that might be worth going to; a tour to Cottonwood Spring will fill your soul with tremendous feelings. North Fork Robinson Wash is next to Tuckup Trail and is always a bliss to go to. Kanab Plateau is a pleasant location to check out, and do put some time aside to spend at Dome Spring while you're here at Tuckup Trail.
