trails in this neighborhood. This is a trail that is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. With its 163.6 miles of walking distance; it's longer than many hiking trails. At parts of the year this vicinity sees very little rain, so do check for current fire
restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire.
Briefly about the general area:
Agate Canyon is near Tonto Trail and is a wonderful location It's always magnificent to have a look at Crystal Rapids. Boucher Creek flows through this vicinity.
You'll need more than a day to look at everything Tonto Trail has to offer, you can camp at Trailer Village.
A quick journey to Crystal Creek right next door to Tonto Trail is a fine idea, and while you're here you ought to take a look at Point Sublime. Hermit Basin is a good
place to check out, and a tour to Grand Canyon National Park is worthwhile.
Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff close to Tonto Trail. Stay the night at Visitor Center Campground; do put some time aside to spend at Boucher Rapids while you're here at Tonto Trail. Some splendid nature is available in Kaibab National Forest, and Hindu Amphitheater is a lovely place any time of year.
