Tiyo Point Trail is quite long, so don't  
forget to pack enough supplies. There are so many great outdoors hiking trails in this area. With its 12.4 miles of walking distance; it's considered a longer backcountry hike. This backcountry hike should take you about 2 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. There's not much difference in elevation along the great outdoors trail which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. This is a one trailhead hiking trail, so you'll be hiking it in and back out. A long journey divides Flagstaff from Tiyo Point Trail, but you always have a splendid time when you're backcountry backpacking along it.

Briefly about the general area:
This is such a great river. Some of the water nearby flows, like Milk Creek. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Tiyo Point Trail has to offer, you can camp at Roaring Springs Campground. Marble Flats is a tremendous place to check out; if you have time to spare, Grand Canyon National Park is a national park worth checking out.
If you fancy a little side spree, try Thompson Canyon, and swing by Wall Creek it's a tremendous location to visit. You simply must like Tiyo Point Trail. While you're here at Tiyo Point Trail you will meet lots of folks from close by Flagstaff. There's so much to do here at Tiyo Point Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Suspension Bridge Campground is a fine location for that. Places like The Basin are great to visit, and Basin Spring is an inspiring spot to stop at while here.
A visit to Tiyo Point Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Outlet Spring.
