Arizona hiking trails - Tiptop Trail, Yavapai County

Each backcountry hiking trail in Arizona is well worth a backcountry walk. Even though this is not a very long trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. The total elevation difference for this hiking trail is 1,350 feet which is about average. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Tiptop Trail in Yavapai County, Arizona is the fresh
    air at its best. This hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry trek. Tiptop Trail is 5 miles long it's a mid length backcountry trek. This wilderness hiking trail is a normal length wilderness hiking trail with an average amount of climbing
distance which makes this wilderness hiking trail good for the average backcountry trekker looking for a cool adventure. This trail sometimes gets very dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Tiptop Trail, and the night is quite chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Tiptop Trail. You spend the whole backcountry  
trek in roughly the same elevation zone, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole great outdoors trail. Tiptop Trail is a location that is reasonably arid mostly; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is June. You should count on this walk taking about 4.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Backcountry backpacking here in Arizona is a glorious way to spend some time. This is a region covered with lots of wilderness hiking trails. Arizona has plenty of great backcountry hiking trails; Tiptop Trail in Yavapai County is one of them.

Yep, outdoors fun things to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Tiptop Trail. Jim Creek Spring is a scenic place to have a look at while you're at Tiptop Trail, and unsurprisingly, A journey to Joes Gulch is always fun.
This river is so wonderful. Getting to Jim Creek from Tiptop Trail is painless, and Tiptop Trail is a wonderful spot to camp, Kentuck Spring Campground is a wonderful spot. You don’t have to go far from Tiptop Trail to observe the water at Horsethief Dam, and Horsethief Basin is a good place to stretch your legs a bit. A short tour to Sullivan Spring is always worthwhile, and Hazlett Hollow Campground is a glorious campground here.
