Now, this is roughly a 3.5-day backcountry trek,
    so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. Some parts of this great outdoors trail are much higher up than other parts of the great outdoors trail, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Please follow all local rules about
fires and camping. The total elevation difference for Sycamore Basin Trail is 2,278 feet which is about average. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Sycamore Basin Trail is a location that is pretty waterless ordinarily; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is June. This is just one of a large number of backpacking trails in this neighborhood. Sycamore Basin Trail has only one trailhead,  
so in and out is the way to backcountry trek it normally. For the duration of the summer months here at Sycamore Basin Trail, high temperatures generally get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Sycamore Basin Trail. With its 24.6 miles of walking distance; it's a long great outdoors trail. There are plenty of backpacking trails in Arizona; each one of them has its own character. Sycamore Basin Trail is a backcountry hiking trail relatively far from Prescott, but It's always enjoyable to backcountry walk here. If you happen to be in Arizona, why not go backcountry backpacking, it is always an enjoyable thing to do. Sycamore Basin Trail is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip.

Briefly about the general area:
There's some flowing water nearby, Tule Tank Wash is a stream you can take a look at while you're here. There's so much to do here at Sycamore Basin Trail that you need to camp here for a while, White Horse Lake Campground is a great site for that. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Sycamore Basin Trail is great! You can run the rapids of Verde River near Sycamore Basin Trail, and while you're here at Sycamore Basin Trail it's a brilliant idea to go to Sycamore Basin.
Sycamore Basin Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camelot RV Center is a great local campground, and Oak Creek is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. Parsons Spring is a good local attraction; let's not forget Cedar Creek which is a stream that you may run into during your stay. A pleasant journey to Cow Flat is a good way to spend an afternoon.
Put some time aside to spend at Sand Seeps if you're here at Sycamore Basin Trail, and of course, A spree to Jacks Canyon is always fun.
