Sweetwater Baldy Saddle Trail 143 has a total elevation difference of 2,923 feet, and that is higher than average. This walk shouldn't take more than 5.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This is a two-ended wilderness trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can walk it just one way. Being 6.2 miles long it's a mid length trek. Now this backcountry trail is pretty long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Sweetwater Baldy Saddle Trail 143 goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire.
