Arizona hiking trails - Snowshed Trail, Cochise County

   
  Backpacking and hiking trails for hiking, and backpacking can be found all over Arizona; Snowshed Trail in Cochise County is one of them. No chance of getting bored in Arizona if you like the wilderness. Rather far from Sierra Vista-Douglas you bump into Snowshed Trail, but it is a really wonderful trail. Hiking in Arizona is always an amusing thing to do. This great outdoors hiking trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This is an area covered with lots of backcountry
    hiking trails. At Snowshed Trail through the days of summer highs are in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Snowshed Trail fall into the 20's. This vicinity
does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Snowshed Trail is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Around Snowshed Trail you don’t get a lot of precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain while May is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Every single Arizona great outdoors trail is worth hiking. Snowshed Trail is many miles long with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a tremendous backcountry hiking  
trail for experienced backcountry trekkers in great shape. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. The total elevation difference for Snowshed Trail is 4,141 feet which is a higher than average number. There is only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry walk. Now, this is roughly a 2-day trek, so it's a magnificent thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. Finally, backcountry backpacking time is here again, and Snowshed Trail in Cochise County, Arizona is a really wonderful place to spend some time. Being 14.6 miles long; it's a long great outdoors hiking trail.

Briefly about the general area:
Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Fort Bowie National Historic Site is a pleasant local destination here at Snowshed Trail, and it's a good idea to stop by Onion Creek. A tremendous forest in the neighborhood of Snowshed Trail is Douglas Ranger District.
Why not stop by nearby South Fork Cave Creek while you're here at Snowshed Trail; why not camp at Rustler Park Campground since you're here at Snowshed Trail. Long Park is a great site to check out, and Upper Pinery Canyon Campground is a great local campground. Flys Park is a stunning place any time of year, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Log Spring.
Horseshoe Pass is close to Snowshed Trail and is unquestionably a great location to check out, and a trip to Burro Spring will fill your soul with great feelings.
