Arizona hiking trails - Snowshed Trail, Cochise County

Put on your backpacking shoes, and hit the backpacking and hiking trail, Snowshed Trail in Cochise County, Arizona is the great outdoors at its best. Each one of the many wilderness trails of Arizona is worth backpacking. Backcountry hiking here in Arizona is a must. Not much rainfall falls here at Snowshed Trail; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is May. Snowshed Trail has a total
    elevation difference of 4,141 feet, and that is higher than average. Summertime at Snowshed Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, commonly in the 60's. Through the winter highs are commonly in the 50's with winter lows in
the 20's overnight here at Snowshed Trail. Backcountry backpacking here in Arizona is a great way to spend some time. This is one of many trails in the surrounding vicinity. This is a great outdoors hiking trail that is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. Now, this is roughly a 2-day hike, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Sometimes this great outdoors hiking trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions  
with local forest authorities before you head out. This great outdoors trail is a very long great outdoors trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough trail for advanced backcountry walkers looking for a splendid challenge. There is only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry walk it normally. With its 14.6 miles of walking distance; it's longer than many hiking trails. Arizona has plenty of nice wilderness trails; Snowshed Trail in Cochise County is one of them. Different parts of this hiking trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it.

Briefly about the general area:
While you're here at Snowshed Trail it's a good idea to have a look at Long Park; camping at Upper Pinery Canyon Campground is always a good experience. A brilliant forest near Snowshed Trail is Douglas Ranger District.
If you came to camp Rustler Park Campground is a tremendous place to do that, and South Fork Cave Creek is close to Snowshed Trail and is always a joy to have a look at. It's always great to stop by Burro Spring, and why not take a little tour to Onion Creek while you're here. Near Snowshed Trail you find brilliant sites like Horseshoe Pass, and don't leave Snowshed Trail without first paying a visit to Log Spring.
Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. You ought to absolutely dedicate some time to Flys Park if you're here at Snowshed Trail, and a journey to Fort Bowie National Historic Site is recommended.
