Arizona hiking trails - Snowshed Trail, Cochise County

   
  Hiking here in Arizona is a must. There are numerous hiking trails in Arizona, and each one has its own character. You'll need to go far from Sierra Vista-Douglas to get to Snowshed Trail, but there's good natural splendor waiting for you here along it. Now this backcountry hiking trail is pretty long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Being 14.6 miles long; it's longer than many trails. Snowshed Trail is frequently a relatively dried up location; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; May on the other hand is the driest.
    Trails for backcountry backpacking, and backpacking can be found all over Arizona; among these are Snowshed Trail in Cochise County. The warmest time of the year at Snowshed Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's. High temperatures
through the winter are normally in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Snowshed Trail. This is just one of a large number of backcountry trails in this region. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. The total elevation difference for this backpacking trail is 4,141 feet which is a higher than average number. Now, this is roughly a 2-day backcountry walk, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. Some parts of this trail are much higher up than other parts of the trail, and that means that some parts of the trail  
could be very different from other parts of it. This backpacking trail is a very long backpacking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it an outstanding backcountry trail for experienced backcountry trekkers in great shape. Trekking here in Arizona is always an amusing thing to do. At parts of the year this region sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Snowshed Trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry hike. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Snowshed Trail in Cochise County, Arizona is a tremendous place to go.

Briefly about the general area:
The trees of Douglas Ranger District are a great source of shade on hot summer days; Flys Park is right here at Snowshed Trail. Near Snowshed Trail you come across Horseshoe Pass which is a nice spot to pop by, and a pleasant location like Long Park here at Snowshed Trail is too perfect to miss.
Burro Spring is a pretty place to take a look at while you're at Snowshed Trail. If you're here at Snowshed Trail, you could pop by South Fork Cave Creek, and Snowshed Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Rustler Park Campground is a good local campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. A quick spree to Onion Creek in the vicinity of Snowshed Trail is a great idea; Fort Bowie National Historic Site is a very wonderful place to explore.
Log Spring is always fun to check out, and camping at Upper Pinery Canyon Campground is always a perfect experience.
