You'll wish for
more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Shake Tree Trail. Take a little trip to Alder Creek since you're here at Shake Tree Trail; a short tour to Garden Spring is always worthwhile. Shake Tree Trail is a perfect site to visit for more than one day, Oxbow Estates
RV Park is a perfect site to camp nearby, and if you come at the right time of year, Tonto Creek offers some wonderful whitewater. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Mogollon Rim Mountains, not enough time.
Everybody loves Y Bar Basin, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on East Verde River.
