This is a two-ended trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry walk it just one way. go far from Tucson to get to Sendero Esperanza Trail, but there's tremendous natural attractiveness waiting for you here along it. At Sendero Esperanza Trail you don’t see much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most
while June is typically the driest month. This is a wilderness hiking trail that is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. This backcountry walk shouldn't take more than 6.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared
for that. The total elevation difference for this trail is 812 feet which is lower than average. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Hiking here in Arizona is the perfect
thing to do.
Briefly about the general area: King Canyon is a great place to spend some time at. If you haven’t been to Saguaro National Park, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here. There's so much to do here at Sendero Esperanza Trail that you need
to camp here for a while, Palo Verde Picnic Area and Campground is a glorious spot for that. Sendero Esperanza Trail is not far at all from Tucson, and Sendero Esperanza Trail is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Western way RV Resort is a magnificent local campground.
