  Arizona is a good outdoors state. Every backpacking trail in Arizona is different from the others. Trails are fine and plentiful in Arizona; Seal Mountain Trail in Yavapai County is one of them. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while, and Seal Mountain Trail in Yavapai County, Arizona is a nice place to go. You should count on this hike taking about 4.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. With its 5.4 miles of walking distance it's an average length hiking trail. Seal Mountain Trail
    is to be found a rather long drive from Prescott, but it is a nice shelter from the settlement. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. This is not a very long wilderness trail but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. This
wilderness trail is a normal length wilderness trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes this backcountry hiking trail good for the average backcountry walker looking for a cool adventure. Seal Mountain Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry trek. Hiking in Arizona never gets boring. Sometimes this wilderness trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. There is only one trailhead,  
so you're looking at an in and out trek. It is very dehydrated here at Seal Mountain Trail frequently; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is June. The number of backcountry hiking trails in this vicinity is not very high. For the period of the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 90's at Seal Mountain Trail. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's; nighttime lows at Seal Mountain Trail during the wintertime mostly drop into the 20's. Seal Mountain Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,485 feet which is an average number.

Briefly about the general area:
There's so much to do here at Seal Mountain Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Aztec Mobile Home and RV Park is a delightful site for that; let's not forget Cottonwood Creek which is a stream that you may run into while here. It's always nice to visit Ashe Springs.
This river is always fun. Campbells Flat is a perfect spot to check out; don't leave Seal Mountain Trail without first paying a visit to Cameron Spring. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Seal Mountain Trail has to offer, you can camp at Oak Park Motel and RV Park, and obviously Spring Creek flows through this vicinity.
