This trek shouldn't take more than 4.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This wilderness trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Safford Morence Trail
is a location that is relatively dried out generally; most of the rain falls during July while May is generally the driest month. This region does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go.
