This is a two-ended backpacking and hiking trail with two trailheads, so backcountry backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. There are so many wilderness trails in this area. During the warmest time of the year at Rucker Canyon Trail Two Hundred Twentytwo temperatures are typically in the 80's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, typically in the 60's. All through the winter highs are typically in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Rucker Canyon Trail Two Hundred Twentytwo are in the 20's. Rucker Canyon Trail Two Hundred Twentytwo is 5.6 miles long it's a mid length trek. Arizona has so much to offer nature lovers. Even though this is not a very long wilderness trail it's always splendid to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen.

Fort Bowie National Historic Site is a splendid national park. Lone Juniper Spring is an inspiring place to go to during your stay, and some nice nature is available in Douglas Ranger District.
