needed for this trek is roughly 7.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. The trails of the Mogollon Rim Mountains are the best way to enjoy these mountains. For the duration of the warm months at Pine Mountain Trail highs are regularly in the
100's, and through the night it cools down to the 70's. Throughout the wintertime highs are generally in the 60's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Pine Mountain Trail temperatures dip to the 30's. This trail is a normal length trail with an average amount of climbing
distance which makes it a great backpacking trail for experienced walkers in pleasant shape.

there's a heap more entertaining stuff to do in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Mogollon Rim Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Verde River offers some fine whitewater. There's so much to do here at Pine Mountain Trail that you need to
camp here for a while, Jakes Corner RV Park is a delightful place for that. Not far from Pine Mountain Trail you can enjoy the trees of Tonto National Forest, and glide down the rapids of Tonto Creek in a kayak. A great site to have a look at in the vicinity of Pine Mountain Trail
is Ballantine Canyon; Mountain Spring is a fine local attraction. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Bull Basin is right here at Pine Mountain Trail; Coyote Spring is always fun to check out.
