| | big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. All through the summertime months at Mooney Trail temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Mooney Trail. Canyon is a pleasant place to go if you're at Mooney Trail; Mooney Trail is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Sunrise Resorts Of Arizona is a good spot to camp nearby. Cedar Creek is next to Mooney Trail and is always a bliss to visit, and Sedona RV Resort is a good campground
nearby. Oak Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby; don't leave Mooney Trail without first paying a visit to Bunker Hill Spring.
