Briefly about the general area: Cedar Creek flows through this region, and if you come at the right time of year, Verde River offers some tremendous whitewater.
A trip to Bunker Hill Spring will fill your spirit with good feelings, and Taylor Basin is a gorgeous place any time of year. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Don't leave Mooney Trail without first paying a visit to Sycamore Spring, and Montezuma Castle National
Monument is a glorious local destination. There's so much to do here at Mooney Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Sunrise Resorts Of Arizona is a good location for that, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Oak Creek. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mooney Trail has to offer, you can camp at Sedona RV Resort; Mooney Canyon is around here, and is a delightful location.
