Arizona hiking trails - Mooney Trail, Yavapai County

   
  Backcountry hiking trails are pleasant and plentiful in Arizona; among these are Mooney Trail in Yavapai County. No chance of getting bored in Arizona if you like the wilderness. Rather far from Prescott you come upon Mooney Trail, but It's always enjoyable to hike here. Mooney Trail is pretty dehydrated ordinarily; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most while June is ordinarily the driest month. Each hiking trail in Arizona has its own unique splendor. Here in Arizona trekking is an excellent way to spend
    some time. There are so many wilderness trails in this vicinity. Mooney Trail is 12 miles long; it's a long hiking trail. The total elevation difference for Mooney Trail is 1,852 feet which is an average number. This backcountry hike should take you about 1.5 days, so better have
big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. All through the summertime months at Mooney Trail temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Mooney Trail. This wilderness hiking trail is a wilderness hiking trail of good length with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a brilliant wilderness trail for experienced walkers in wonderful shape. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end,  
so backcountry hiking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Now this backcountry hiking trail is pretty long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Some parts of this hiking trail are much higher up than other parts of the hiking trail, and that means that some parts of the hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Mooney Trail in Yavapai County, Arizona is a tremendous site for getting out. Sometimes this backcountry hiking trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping.

Sycamore Spring is an inspiring place to go to while you're here, and you must absolutely dedicate some time to Taylor Basin while you're here at Mooney Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Paddling on Verde River is so much fun, and don't miss out on a journey to Montezuma Castle National Monument while you're here.
Nearby Mooney Canyon is a pleasant place to go if you're at Mooney Trail; Mooney Trail is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Sunrise Resorts Of Arizona is a good spot to camp nearby. Cedar Creek is next to Mooney Trail and is always a bliss to visit, and Sedona RV Resort is a good campground nearby.
Oak Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby; don't leave Mooney Trail without first paying a visit to Bunker Hill Spring.
