At Loy Butte Five through the summertime highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights
    at Loy Butte Five are in the 20's. Loy Butte Five is a location that is pretty arid typically; most of the rain falls throughout August, and June on the other hand is the driest. Hiking trails are glorious and plentiful in Arizona, and Loy Butte Five in Yavapai County is one of
them. This trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Loy Butte Five is a two ended great outdoors trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Loy Butte Five is 9.6 miles long; it's longer than many trails. This is a long backpacking trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. The time needed  
for this trek is roughly 8 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Hey, time for a backcountry trek don’t you think? Loy Butte Five in Yavapai County, Arizona is a perfect place to go. This backpacking trail sometimes gets very dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. The length of Loy Butte Five is on the longer side having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a brilliant backpacking trail for experienced trekkers in magnificent shape. Backcountry backpacking here in Arizona is a magnificent way to spend some time. This is one of many backpacking trails in the surrounding region.

A perfect site for whitewater paddling next to Loy Butte Five is Verde River, and if you came for an overnight stay White Horse Lake Campground is a glorious site to camp. A journey to Winter Cabin Spring will fill your soul with wonderful feelings; if you're looking for a wonderful journey, Montezuma Castle National Monument is relatively near.
