    from other parts of it. Being 9.6 miles long; it's longer than many wilderness trails. This is one of many trails in the surrounding region. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. High temperatures at Loy Butte Five during the summertime months
are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Loy Butte Five. The total elevation difference for this backcountry hiking trail is 2,111 feet which is about average. Loy Butte Five is positioned a rather long tour from Prescott, but backcountry trekking is such a cool thing to do, and this is a brilliant location to do that. There are many pleasant backcountry hiking trails in Arizona, and one of these is Loy Butte Five  
in Yavapai County. Each backcountry hiking trail in Arizona is well worth a hike. Sometimes this trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. The length of this wilderness hiking trail is on the longer side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough trail for advanced backcountry walkers looking for a splendid challenge. The time needed for this trek is roughly 8 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. At Loy Butte Five you don’t see much precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest.

If you came to camp White Horse Lake Campground is a delightful location to do that; if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Oak Creek.
