Arizona hiking trails - Loy Butte Five, Yavapai County

   
  A long tour divides Prescott from Loy Butte Five, but it's one of those spots where backcountry backpacking is great. Arizona has plenty of nice hiking and backpacking trails, and among these are Loy Butte Five in Yavapai County. Here in Arizona backcountry trekking is an excellent idea. Different parts of this hiking and backpacking trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the hiking and backpacking trail could be very different from other parts of it. This backcountry trek shouldn't take more than 8 hours, but you never
    know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This is one of many hiking trails in the surrounding vicinity. This region does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before
you head out. This trail is many miles long with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a great hiking trail for experienced backcountry walkers in tremendous shape. As long as you like the wilderness you will like Arizona. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in the great outdoors a bit, and Loy Butte Five in Yavapai County, Arizona is a glorious spot to go. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Loy Butte Five is a location that is rather dried out commonly; most of the rain falls during  
August; June is the month with the least moisture. All through the summertime months at Loy Butte Five temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 40's while Loy Butte Five overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Every single Arizona hiking and backpacking trail is well worth a backcountry hike. This is a backcountry trail that is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. The total elevation difference for this backpacking trail is 2,111 feet which is about average. Loy Butte Five is 9.6 miles long; it's considered a longer walk. This is a two-ended backpacking trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end.

Stay the night at White Horse Lake Campground; Oak Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby. Don’t forget to have a look at Taylor Basin since you're here at Loy Butte Five; whitewater paddling is perfect on Verde River.
A journey to Bunker Hill Spring will fill your spirit with splendid feelings, and Lincoln Canyon is also a glorious site to look at. Don't miss out on a journey to Montezuma Castle National Monument since you're here at Loy Butte Five, and Sedona RV Resort is a fine campground here.
