This hiking and backpacking trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry trek. Of course, this is an overnight backcountry walk, 1.5 days normally,  
so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. At La Milagrosa-Aqua Caliente Trail during the summer months highs are in the 100's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's while La Milagrosa-Aqua Caliente Trail night low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's.
