Being 3.4 miles long it's shorter than many great outdoors trails. This is a one trailhead backpacking and hiking trail, so you'll be trekking it in and back out. At parts of the year this area sees very little rain, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out.
