Hot Air Trail Fifteen is a one trailhead wilderness trail, so you're looking at an in and out walk. This hike shouldn't take more than 3 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Sometimes this backpacking trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. You spend the whole backcountry trek in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry trek. Hot Air Trail Fifteen has a total elevation difference of 1,020 feet which is about average. With its 3.4 miles of walking distance it's shorter than many hiking and backpacking trails. This backpacking trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens.
