outdoors trails is so much fun. You should count on this hike taking about 3 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. For the period of the summertime months at Honeymoon
Trail highs are commonly in the 100's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Honeymoon Trail. This wilderness hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 217
feet, and that is lower than average. Honeymoon Trail is a long tour away from St. George, but it is a cool place to backcountry hike. This great outdoors trail sometimes gets very dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make
a camp fire.
Briefly about the general area: Don't forget to take a great little visit to Short Creek, and you're sure to bump into some great people from St. George here. Willowind RV is a great local campground, and Cottonwood Wash is unquestionably a wonderful site to go to. Short Creek is a striking stream that is worth going to, and Silver Springs RV Resort is a great campground nearby.
