Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in the fresh air a bit, and Honeymoon Pack Trail in Mohave County, Arizona is just the place. This walk shouldn't take more than 5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This hiking trail is a mid length hiking trail with very little uphill walking involved which makes this wilderness hiking trail wonderful for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Honeymoon Pack Trail is generally a relatively dehydrated site; March is the wettest month with most rain while June is generally the driest month. someone, you can trek it just one way. Backcountry backpacking here in Arizona is the delightful thing to do. There are not too many wilderness hiking trails in this region. Summertime brings highs in the 100's to Honeymoon Pack Trail. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures
plunge down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and overnight lows at Honeymoon Pack Trail through the winter commonly plunge into the 20's. It's a long drive from St. George to Honeymoon Pack Trail, but it sure is a a perfect great outdoors
hiking trail. You spend the whole trek in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your trek.
Briefly about the general area: This is such a fun river. Rock Canyon is in the vicinity of Honeymoon Pack Trail and is
without doubt a pleasant site to stop at, and if you came for an overnight stay Quail Lake Resort is a delightful location to camp. Getting to Rock Creek from Honeymoon Pack Trail is uncomplicated, and a visit to Zion National Park is recommended. Some of the water close by
flows, like Hurricane Wash, and this is a popular site for folks from St. George. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Sand Spring; why not camp at Canyons RV Resort if you're here at Honeymoon Pack Trail.
