At parts of the year this vicinity sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. The total elevation difference for this hiking trail is 2,182 feet which is about average. Of course, this is an overnight backcountry trek, 1.5 days normally, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Being 11.8 miles long; it's longer than many hiking trails. Havasupai Trail Thirty is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Some parts of Havasupai Trail Thirty are much higher up than other parts of the hiking trail, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations.
